RACE 1 - 2:50PM Emmetts Benchmark 58 Handicap (1900 METRES)
MAVETTE has been knocking on the door the latest running 2nd to Armament at Bordertown. He draws the inside and gets his chance. GO BOO BOO is another who has been around the mark coming off a 5th behind Kalamon at Balaklava. She draws a good barrier and has appeal. HAHNDORF has been here twice and been in the money both times. He battled on OK behind Reinvigorate at Strathalbyn last time. ACE ATTACK has been in the money at three of four here. DON’T DISMISS was OK behind Kilowatt at Strathalbyn two starts back.

RACE 2 - 3:25PM Harcourts Colts, Geldings & Entires Maiden Plate (1050 METRES)
WOLF CITY is on debut for Will Clarken and has the two trials under his belt. He chased home the smart Philonize in his first trial back in March and returned to win a trial here recently. This isn’t a strong race, and he looks the one to beat. YOUNG JIMMY is on debut for Daryl Dodson and comes off a nice Bordertown trial win. He draws a perfect barrier and looks the other big winning chance. UTAH JOE has had a few chances now but looks the pick of the rest on his last-start Gawler placing.

RACE 3 - 4:00PM Neutrog Filles & Mares Maiden Plate (1050 METRES)
RICH FEELINGS is the interesting runner. She won two trials here before being $4 into $2.80 on debut at Murray Bridge when beaten 8.5 lengths behind Extremely Lucky. She draws well and gets her chance. MAGICOURT trialled OK here behind Typhoon Award before going to Penola on debut when 2nd behind Cheh Cheh Charlee and should give this a shake despite a sticky barrier. REDWINELOVER trialled well here before running 3rd behind Extremely Lucky at Murray Bridge but draws wide. ROUGE RENARDE trialled well here before an OK run behind Witness Greatness at Gawler. She is probably better suited over further but is on her home deck. THE TRANCE FACTOR has been placed at nine of 30 starts and her last three but she does draw a tricky barrier but should roll forward and Todd Pannell takes the ride. OAMARU POPPY was placed at her first three starts and was spelled when down the track and Balaklava. ALPINE FUN debuts for the in-form Ryan Balfour.

LONRODEX got well back and passed a few late on debut behind Jean Valjean at Balaklava. He trialled OK here behind Londres and must be given each-way appeal. QUICK RETURN was OK on debut behind Kung Fu Fighting at Murray Bridge and must be respected. DELTA RIVER had specking at big odds behind Sadler’s Song at Morphettville last time and this is a big drop in class. FIAMETTE is the next pick while ZARLEY EVE has ability.

RACE 5 - 5:10PM Hallmark Farm Maiden/Class One Plate (2150 METRES)
MUFFLA had a perfect run and looked to have every possible chance when run down by Blue Bear at Balaklava last time. He draws a good gate and is worth one more chance. ROBE RAIDER is going to appreciate the extra ground and her latest behind Ichibansan is good form for a race like this. MILITARY PRESS has OK form for a race like this running 2nd behind Dorothy Rose at Clare two starts back before a good effort running 3rd behind Ichibansan at Murray Bridge, the winner doing so again since. LOOKING FORWARD has been placed his past couple and the extra trip should suit. PLYMPTON draws wide but can run well.

RACE 6 - 5:40PM Klose's Foodland Benchmark 54 Handicap (1400 METRES)
DASKULYA was a good Murray Bridge winner three starts back and his past two behind Secret War and Sand Cat have been solid. He draws to lead and should be hard to beat here. SEA PRINCESS looks the danger a former Victorian first-up for Michael Hickmott. She only has a Wangaratta maiden win beside her name but did trial OK here behind Caliburn. PRAISE THE POWER is another Victorian on debut for Barry Brook and comes out of the same Caliburn trial. CANIDAE was well back when 3rd behind But Beautiful at Bordertown last time. BIGNOTA comes off a good Balaklava win beating Harbouring.

RACE 7 - 6:10PM Cornerstone Stud Benchmark 58 Handicap (1050 METRES)
Good race. SMART ALICK resumes and is a winner at his only start here. He draws the inside and must be kept safe. Has won two of six first-up. DAZZLING HARMONY was well tried and won smartly at Balaklava last week beating Cassandra Isabel. She draws out but looks a horse with some upside and should be in the finish again. RICHTER went to Mindarie-Halidon to win his maiden well leading throughout to beat Valaroc. That looks OK form for a race like this. SEA WITNESS was a Port Lincoln winner two starts back before a good run behind Great Leveller last time at Morphettville. That’s good form for a race like this. LORD VARYS is back in class on his latest behind Dantree at Morphettville on the Parks. BEERMINT had some OK form at the latter part of last year in better races before going to Darwin and must be kept safe. I'M KENNY has good form on dirt and was OK behind Dantree at Morphettville last time. STACKABLE is on debut for Kristi Evans and trialled OK here recently. VALLEY OF DARKNESS won a Murray Bridge maiden on debut and hasn’t raced since last August. FRENCH ROCK was a winner here in September.

RACE 8 - 6:40PM Sugar Finance Benchmark 52 Handicap (1100 METRES)
Looks to be good speed here, might set it up for GRIMESY who has a handy record and has been placed here previously. He was good behind Indian Gazelle last time and the blinkers go off. WITNESS GREATNESS showed speed to lead and deserved his breakthrough win at Gawler last time. He draws to lead again and should take some running down with the Ben Price claim. LIBERTY POWER was a winner here this meeting under the same conditions last year. He will roll forward and is sure to give this a sake with a solid first-up run under his belt. POLLYANNA was an easy winner here back in September and hasn’t raced since chasing home Lucky Dog here. She draws out but should appreciate a solid tempo up front. ROCKATANSKY has been runner-up his past two the latest behind Rustydustysunshine at Balaklava. He draws a tricky barrier. ANJAH is trained here and ran OK behind Champagne Dreams at Balaklava last time.
