She’s looking to break through for Dare to Dreamers

Trainer Ryan Balfour is confident his Dare to Dream runner She’s Krupt will break her maiden status sooner, rather than later.

The four-year-old mare notched three placings in her initial four-start preparation, including an unlucky debut at Murray Bridge and a narrow second behind the Anthony Freedman-trained Victorian visitor Flirting over 1200m at Morphettville.

She’s Krupt has been spelling and Balfour says owners have plenty to look forward to from her looming racetrack return.

“She’ll be at the races soon, and I hope she’ll be saluting for us fairly early in the preparation,” he said.

“She nearly got that metro win last time around, but ran into that Godolphin horse that came over here.

“But she’s come back bigger, stronger and more mature.”

She’s Krupt last ran on June 20.

TRSA’s Dare To Dream initiative gave 25 competition winners a chance to experience racehorse ownership via a share in two horses for themselves and nine friends.

The horses were spread across five local stables.
