Scott Bailey Represents South Australia in National Apprentice Challenge

Morphettville based apprentice Scott Bailey flies to Perth today to represent South Australia in the opening heat of the National Apprentice Jockey Challenge.

Bailey 20, is indentured to trainer Stuart Gower and will ride Capuchin in the Apprentice Challenge over 1400m at Belmont tomorrow. Scott has ridden 60 winners in his career of which are 12 are in the Metropolitan area and in the past 6 months he has ridden two city doubles.

Another highlight for Scott this year was being named the inaugural winner of the SATAB Apprentice Challenge Series run on the four Provincial racetracks in South Australia .

The second heat of the National Apprentice Jockey Challenge will be held at Canterbury in New South Wales on Wednesday, 12 November 2008. Good Luck Scott.
