Such a landmark requires a big racing event, and that’s what you get at the Port Augusta Cup. It’s the only major cup day in the outback, and the locals go all-out to make it something special. There’ll be entertainment all day for everyone, live music, fantastic food and wine (including the very popular Wine Tent), Fashions on the Field, competitions and free activities for kids. Then there’s the racing - the Club has a unique dirt racecourse bordered by delightful grassed lawns, and the trackside atmosphere is terrific.
