Dear racing community,
The Thoroughbred Racing SA Industry Awards and Hall of Fame are held at the end of each racing season to honour the achievements of the state’s top horses, trainers, jockeys, apprentices and associates.
Due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, TRSA has decided against holding Hall of Fame Awards for this year only as it believes these awards need to be celebrated in full as a racing community – something we could not achieve online. However, for the first time in the event’s history, the industry awards presentations will take place online, via TRSA’s Facebook and Twitter pages, on Friday, August 28, Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30, 2020.
TRSA is determined to keep the 2020 industry awards in place, as the participants have been instrumental in keeping the racing industry thriving throughout these challenging times. We are proud that we have been able to keep operating under tight regulations and we are wanting to acknowledge those participants who will be receiving awards.
We look forward to a time when we will be able to come together to celebrate our Industry Awards and Hall of Fame achievements together as we have in the past. Until then, stay safe.
